Is a lead the same thing as a contact?
Technically a contact is someone you have done business with in the past already, while a lead is a prospective client that you hope to do business with.
For Agent Legend "lead" is used to label both contacts and leads.
Knowing the difference can still be helpful. We advise sorting your lead when you create campaigns so that different leads receive different messaging. For example, new leads might be sent to a "New Lead Campaign" while former clients, cold leads, and personal acquaintances would each get their own campaigns with unique messaging.
You can even sort through campaign templates based on the type of lead you are creating it for.
