Are the letters actually written with a real pen?

Yes! Every letter is written with a real ballpoint pen by a robotic arm in our production facility in Minnesota. These are not inkjet-printed or digitally simulated — a physical pen touches the paper for every single letter.

To make each letter look as authentic as possible, our robots use a proprietary algorithm that variates every individual character, so no two letters, E's, or O's look exactly the same. The robot also applies variable pressure, just like a human hand would, which creates the natural ink gaps you'd expect from genuine handwriting. The goal isn't perfection — it's the right amount of imperfection so the letter looks completely authentic.

Is the envelope handwritten too?

Yes. The recipient's address and your return address are both written on the envelope at the same time the letter itself is being written.

What kind of stamp is used?

We use an assortment of what are called "barn stamps" — the kind of stamps you'd see on a graduation party invite or a holiday card from a friend. We intentionally avoid the generic commercial American flag stamps that signal bulk mail, so your letter feels like it came from a person, not a mail house.

Will the postmark show that the letter came from out of state?

No. Agent Legend removes the out-of-state postmark on every order, including single letters and small batches. This is made possible through USPS pre-sorting, which we do on every submission regardless of quantity.

Most direct mail companies can only offer postmark removal on bulk orders of 500 pieces or more. Because of the way our software and manufacturing process works, we're able to backpack orders together and pre-sort even a single letter — so you'll never have a postmark that reveals the letter was sent from another state.

How long does delivery take?

Expect delivery in roughly 5 to 11 days from when you submit your order. Being based in Minnesota — centrally located within the USPS network — gives us some of the fastest delivery times in the country.

Is everything produced in-house?

Yes, 100%. Cards are printed, cut, creased, written on, inserted into envelopes, stamped, and pre-sorted all within our own production facility. Nothing is outsourced.

Can I use my own card design?

Absolutely. You have full creative control over your card design. We integrate directly with Canva so you can design your own card, add your logo, brokerage branding, team photos, or anything else you'd like. We also have a library of pre-built templates ready to go if you'd prefer to start from there.

Our team can also assist with creative if you need guidance — you're not on your own.

Can I include my signature?

There isn't a way to reproduce your exact signature, but you can simply sign your name at the bottom of the letter just as you would on any card — for example, writing just your first name after a dash. Based on millions of letters sent, the actual message and design matter far more to response rates than whether a signature is present.

Can I request a sample before I commit?

Yes. Reach out to our support team and we'll send one to you. See what it feels like in person before you send to your clients or leads.

Can I send letters to Canada?

Yes, on bulk orders. There are some additional costs involved for Canadian delivery. Reach out to our team for specifics and we'll walk you through the options.

Is there a monthly fee for handwritten letters?

Handwritten letters run on a wallet-based credit system — you purchase credits up front and draw from them as you send. Credits never expire, so you can buy now and use them whenever you need them.

The credit system is separate from your Agent Legend subscription. Plans start at $99/month, which includes access to all campaign and reporting features, your dedicated phone number for attribution tracking, and Lily, our AI database manager.

How much do letters cost?

Pricing is per letter and scales with the quantity you load into your wallet. The more credits you purchase at once, the lower the cost per letter. You can see all current pricing the Marketplace.

Do credits expire?

No — letter credits never expire. You can purchase credits now and use them anytime.

Can letters be triggered automatically from a campaign or workflow?

Yes. You can add a handwritten letter as a step in any Agent Legend drip campaign. Once set up, letters are triggered and sent automatically when a contact reaches that step — no manual action required. This works for things like new lead follow-ups, listing appointment thank-yous, home anniversaries, birthdays, and more.

What if I don't have complete data — missing addresses, birthdays, anniversaries?

Lily, our AI database manager, can help fill in the gaps. If you're missing birthdates, closing anniversaries, or mailing addresses, Lily can actively find and clean that information so your data is ready to go before you start sending. This is included with your Agent Legend subscription.
