What are followup settings?

The Followup Settings in Agent Legend include key configurations that control how your campaigns operate and how your contacts interact with you. Here’s an overview of each setting:

Followup Email

This is the “From” email address used when sending emails through Agent Legend. Any replies from contacts will be forwarded to this address. You can also use emails sent here to set up integration filters under the Integrations tab.

Note: The Followup Email must be a real inbox you can log into directly within Agent Legend - it cannot be an alias or distribution list.

Followup Email Signature

Set up your email signature here to automatically append it to all outgoing emails. Click Update Signature to customize your signature with text, images, social media links, review pages, and colors. When you’re done, just hit Save.

If you prefer, you can switch to the Manual tab to paste your own custom HTML signature.

Followup Unsubscribe Message

The Followup Unsubscribe Message helps to maintain compliance with TCPA regulations.

By default, Agent Legend will automatically roll through 4 different variations of the message to ensure this appears less automated. You can set a custom static message if you prefer.

Outgoing Phone Number

This is your Agent Legend phone number, used for all outbound calls and texts sent through Agent Legend and the mobile app. It helps track responses and automatically stops campaigns when contacts reply.

You can choose a local area code when selecting your number. If you need to change it, contact our support team.

Mobile Number

This is the number where you want SMS and calls routed if you haven’t downloaded the Agent Legend app. You must be able to receive standard SMS messages on this number.

Once the mobile app is installed, calls and texts will route through the app instead. You can toggle call/SMS forwarding on or off within the app as needed.

Working Hours

Customize the hours and time zone when Agent Legend will send follow-ups. If a contact arrives outside your working hours, their campaign will start the next available working day.

Non-Working Days

Set specific days off to postpone message sending until you return, so you won’t miss important follow-ups.

CAN-SPAM Address

Your name and valid mailing address are required here to comply with CAN-SPAM regulations. This address appears at the bottom of your emails. It can be a home or business address.

Auto Response to Missed Calls

This is the message that will automatically send to your contacts when you miss a call. This can be customized directly from the Followup Settings.
