Can I increase the messaging capacity of my account?

Add an additional phone number to your account to double (or more!) your messaging capacity each month.

How does my messaging capacity increase?

If you have a Professional account and you're looking to expand your reach, we can add an additional phone number(s) to your account to help you achieve your lead nurturing objectives.

Each additional phone number allows you to:

  • Contact an additional 200 contacts per day 
  • Increase your Monthly Active Contact (MAC) by 1,000 contacts
  • Increase your manual and CSV upload capacity by 50 contacts per day

How does it work? 

Your current messaging limits are in place in part due to the carriers. Carriers filter any messages they consider to be SPAM (learn more here); filtering can be due to messaging content, tone, or frequency. While there is no published limit, we've found that users will see a drop in deliverability if they are contacting more than 200 contacts in a single day from a single phone number.

By adding a second phone number to your account, we automatically distribute your outbound text messages across the two phone numbers. There's no change to you as the user - in fact, you'd have no idea you even have a second phone number when you're setting up your campaigns and seeing responses come in! 

Can I more than double my capacity? 

Yes - there is no limit to the number of phone numbers we can add to an account. In fact, we have power-users that need to contact 1,000+ leads in a single day! We work with each user to determine your individual goals and create a custom plan that works for you, your lead volume, and your budget.
